A message from the President - Mr. Naci Kocer

The Cerebrovascular Research and Education Foundation (CREF) is committed to fostering excellence in cerebrovascular research and education by supporting the development of talented individuals across all stages of their careers.

As President of CREF, I have had the privilege of engaging with an exceptional community of clinicians, researchers, and trainees whose dedication to advancing the field is both inspiring and impactful. However, it is evident that without sustained philanthropic support, many promising individuals would face significant barriers to pursuing high-level research and educational opportunities.

CREF operates on the principle that investment in education and research is essential to the advancement of global health. Through the provision of grants, scholarships, and bursaries, the Foundation enables early-career physicians, fellows, and students from diverse backgrounds to access leading international educational programs. In parallel, support for research initiatives not only facilitates scientific innovation but also provides critical opportunities for emerging investigators to develop and disseminate their work within a global context.

It is a distinct honor to contribute to the mission of CREF and to collaborate with a distinguished faculty committed to academic excellence, innovation, and mentorship. Building on the Foundation's established legacy, we remain dedicated to advancing impactful educational and research initiatives that address the evolving challenges in cerebrovascular health.

With the continued support of our partners and donors, we aim to strengthen our collective efforts to improve patient outcomes and promote the health and well-being of communities worldwide.
